What an exciting itinerary. With that much mileage every week, how are you going to do your servicing on the road?

Wish I had a M3W so that I could do the same. I reached out to Morgan when they first came out and offered to take it around the country to show off its abilities and never heard back.

It does seem like a great opportunity for them. Maybe a 3-wheeler in the future for you?

The dealer network in the US has been alerted and will be able to get me in quickly for any servicing or work needed.

This was back in 2011 when I had reached out to them, so I doubt Ill be hearing back at this point.
Regardless, I do hope to have a M3W in the future myself and look forward to hearing all about your journey. I would modify some of your journey through Florida if I had my way for variety sake, but that would bring you off the coast a bit and much of A1A is fantastic!
If on your route you need anything while in the NE of Florida, let me know.

Hi Coach Will,
Just looked at your planned route. Great trip! I’m just finishing a road trip ( unfortunately not in my M3W ) from San Diego to Napa Valley, currently in Napa. Intended to drive Hwy 1 along the coast from Moro Bay to Carmel but had to go inland on Hwy. 101 to Carmel because of Hwy 1 closures north of Ragged Point. It’s my understanding Hwy 1 will be completely open in June, 2018. You might want to check if this fantastic stretch of highway is open completely when you approach this area. Are you planning to visit the S&S factory in Viola, WI ?

Glad to hear Hwy 1 will be open! I won’t be going to Viola in the trip, but may go over before then.

New blog entry at www.m3wroadtrip.comSaw a 1929 3-wheeler yesterday. Amazing! My son and I are soundproofing and hopefully waterproofing the Spirit tomorrow. Any advice would be appreciated! Does anyone have experience with soundproofing the tunnel and transmission covers? Make a difference?

I Dynamatted my transmission tunnel cover/behind and under the seats, but I get the impression that one either has a quiet or a noisy Bevel Box, and that's that. Mine still whines noticeably in Third and Fifth (in Fifth it comes in one the dot of 70 mph, which is useful in the UK in the absence of cruise control), but I have only done 1100 miles and I still hope that the BB will run in over the next 1500 miles. That's about half a week for you!
