Hi there, I've recently acquired a silver 1998 plus 4, which has been converted to plus 8 specification and is in need of some restoration. I can't find a paint code anywhere on the car and there are some areas where the paint needs attention. The paint appears to be a non-metallic silver and the chassis number appears on the on-line listing as silver, rather than a named special order colour. Does anyone know what type of silver paint Morgan was using in 1998 or even what the paint code for it is?

No but go to a good motor paint factors & they have a machine that measures the paint colour & will tell you the match.

Give the factory a call and ask who is it that keeps the chassis details as you need the paint number . Then send him a letter I forget who it is . He will dig out your details if you send the chassis no and bingo but not all have paint code mine was a dig around with a name till I got lucky . I also know a firm that can make it up from 250ml size water based and oil based then post it to your door if its just for touching up . Good Luck by the way where are you from .

I know I ran 35 ink factories employing over 1000 direct reports across EMEA. We are standardised on Xrite as a make and have our own colour matching cloud dbase at one global location with special printers to print colour matches globally for our customers.

Graham how many is a few . My late mate was 6ft 2in used to drink for England and I had to help him home when we where lads . Pin him against the wall , go into his pockets till I found his key open the door ( parents ) and give him a push . He always hit the floor with ease , shove his key in the letter box then walk home . I was always an hour or more later hitting the sack than my mates and they would come early sat m/ing 10 - 11 am and pull me out of bed onto the floor .

Post number 445531 from "norcal_moggirl" lists all the paint codes in use. I think that the post was dated 27 or 28/04/17 and it was in reply to a post from "minikeefy" regarding 1993 Indigo Blue paint code.
