I received the book today and have only had a chance to flick through it, but it looks very good. I know how much work it must have taken to put that together. Bravo Dave.

Thanks Peter (and others!).
I guess it's a bit like making a vase on a potters wheel. When you start, you have no idea of the shape and even whether it's possible. Towards the end you wonder if you've done enough!

Some people who have never written a book think not only that they could but that it is easy. You and I know that it is not as easy as they imagine.

Some people who have never written a book think not only that they could but that it is easy. Why on earth would you think that of people - most professionals have enough imagination to realise it takes training and a specific skill set surely. I have two friends who are authors and they don't find it easy either.

Just received my book this morning. Its quite excellent! Every serious trad Mog owner should have a copy IMO. I so wish it had been available when I bought my first 4/4. Never mind lots of info to digest now!! All mine now needs is DWs signature on the inside front cover. Got to go for now - off to google Neoprene suppliers!!
