Try Meguairs Scratch Cover X or their less abrasive Polishing Compound.

But tread carefully!

I used a machine polisher to clean up my sidescreens. Not glass, I know, but most except deeper ones came clear. I used the Meguiars Scratch X and finished with fine paintwork polish. Glass is harder so a lot will depend on how deep your scratches are and how coarse an abrasive you use.
Halfords sell a kit for glass polishing but I don’t know the details.

Try Autosol metal polish. I've used it quite a few times on different car windscreens and it works well (also good for getting scratches off watches)

I used some glass cutting compound about 30 years ago on my BGT rear screen.
I think it came from Frosts.
The scratches were deep and it partially worked but the mandrel generated a lot of heat, distorted the glass and spattered the compound everywhere.
If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail it will be an uphill struggle.

That’s exactly what I was going to post

Do the fingernail test - if you can feel it, I would be resigned to it staying around

If you can’t it should be polishable

It should be covered on your insurance policy if it won't polish out.

There are specialists who remove scratches from vandalised shop windows, so they must be mobile, might be worth a 'google'

I have seen scratches polished out on a shop window and as Dave and Stewart have said if the scratch is deep then polishing it out will inevitably leave a distortion or wave in the glass. So really depends if the scratch is in your line of sight as a driver.
