I’ve thought for ages it would snap - and now it has!
Is there a metal replacement available as a more robust solution please ?

Perhaps the hood pins need adjusting? Alternatively pushing down on the hood just above the nearest pin while operating the hood release catch helps the pins pop free. Don.

I believe it's from the Ford Ranger and chromed plastic replacements are available on E-Bay. It sounds like your pins need adjusting!!

Quite surprised that the likes of Librands haven't made some metal replacements for them, maybe the next item for someone like Cain to look at?
