I'm generally not a fan of green cars, but my Mk1 Jag was in BRG and I think it suited the car.

Very nice! I'd like an XK8 in that colour

mph,
Exactly !! IMHO, the correct shade of BRG should look almost black in bad light but in the sun it should a nice dark green hue.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

From my experience of BRG the Jaguar examples from the 50s early 60 are some of the best. Agreed, that's why I went for Jaguar Brooklands Green as used on XK140s for my car. It's the same shade that MMC use for the modern Brooklands series cars.

Tim, your butchers shop photograph is prize worthy good. One mark deducted though for that horrible, yellow warning sign for CCTV. It’s my first signs of ageing, I absolutely hate all HSE signs and road signs and lampposts and bins and lines and ugly cars........I better stop, the thread is drifting! Wouldn't that Seven look better with yellow headlamps? Tim, your butchers shop photograph is prize worthy good. One mark deducted though for that horrible, yellow warning sign for CCTV. Now there’s an idea Calum.
I’ve never really liked BRG, but this car kind of fell into my lap and I’ve grown to love the thing, green paint and all.

It certainly looks good on the Seven with the yellow trimmings. Think you might have over done the new cooling fan though!

Does anyone happen to know the paint code for Morgan Brooklands Green? The one Morgan has given me (6GR4B) has not been recognised by several suppliers I have tried.
