By keeping to this standard, we can make it easier for members to both search and scan for the results that suit their needs.

In the Post (text) area

Please ensure that you text is factual and allows people to get a clear indication of what the accommodation is like.

Please list the full address and contact details for the location and adding the web site address would also be helpful.

Photographs

If you choose to post photographs of the accommodation, please do so using the Places to Stay - Photographs - forum. Please ensure you follow the same Subject format as noted above (Country, County (or other relevant wider regional classification), Town and lastly Name of Accommodation). As this forum is new, we may choose to amend the format in the future; however, as a start, I believe this is the easiest method to build a helpful and searchable database of places to stay!

In praise of Air b&b. In case some of you don't know about this it is world wide, reasonably priced and you can meet up with some extraordinary people. For example, look up John and Siobhan Naughton in Kerry on the main Kerry page under, Scenic mountain Bothy. We have used this now in Amsterdam, Belgium, France and Britain.

We have now stayed twice at the Crown Inn for a couple of nights while our Morgan was with Williams Automobiles for servicing and modification.( 6.9 miles from Crown to Williams via Chip. Nort.)
The Country Pub/Hotel provides excellent en suite rooms and a very good menu. The Steak and Ale Pie is to die for and the Full English Breakfast means - No Lunch! The rooms are reasonably priced. The only drawback is pulling out onto a very busy A46. If travelling North suggest take left turn towards Bath then after 1/4 mile turn right down lane and do a Uee and rejoin A46 turning left to go North. This is better than dicing with death the Crown cross roads!
A great find and we'll use it again. Thoroughly recommended.

For anyone travelling in S.W.France near the Aveyron\Lot Depts. I recommend Mas de Pradie. ( featured on Chateau DIY) near Foissac, Inbetween Villefranche de Rouergue and Figeac. Beautiful house and grounds , swimming pool, lovely host in Julia., b&b rooms and holiday cottages.
