I put them under the chassis tube because the originals Ones were used by the cowl.

The P clips don't fit the new leads well Richard. When I took the old leads off I found they were slightly chaffed from the cowl as it gets very close there. I would suggest you cable tie them a bit more outboard to give better clearance. Not driven with them yet either but it seems to start a bit quicker than before from cold.
Thanks Ian but they must have changed the build spec because the P clips I removed were perfect fit for the new 8.5mm cables. I was able to re-use them just adding small washers under the pop rivet heads. No signs of chaffing either so fitted new leads with same run as originals.

Took the car for a 30+ mile blast yesterday - running great - role on summer. It started on first churn over, this after standing in cold garage for over six weeks without any battery charging. Those new leads certainly haven't done any harm

I ordered my Magnecor leads by phone. Always wary of those website enquiry forms.
