Have just fitted the tonneau cover to my 2009 Plus 4 for the first time this year and two of the durable dot fasteners have come apart again.I recall others having similar problems and somebody mention that new cars have abandoned (un)durable dots and use all tenax fasteners instead.Perhaps someone with a nice new car can confirm what fasteners the factory are now fitting.

I have a 2009 Plus 4 and I didn't fitt the tonneau cover till now.I'm sorry but I don't understand wich are the "durable dot fasteners" and the difference from "tenax fasteners" May you put a pic of yours fasteners?

my 2009 plus4 tonneau is works fitted and has two "lift-the-dot" fasteners on the dashboard top left and right, two tennex fasteners (these are fasteners in which you have to pull a little ring to loosen them) behind the doors. The rest are knobs which you know from clothig, I donīt know how to call them.
All fits well and doesnīt come apart at speeds up to 120 km/h. I didnīt try any faster, though.

Can anyone tell me how the tonneau on a 2005 4/4 with a quick fit hood can be used without interfering with the seat belts ?. I have tried and can't find a way to fit the one for my car .
There must be a way but I just can't see how to do it.

Look here Fold the tonneau again before flipping over to tuck between the top of the hood and the underside of the fixed section of the tonneau.

Thanks for the info. The picture explain it so well, I have tried every other way and failed. I never thought of this way. I'll see what sort of a mess I can make of it.Neat and tidy is not my strong point.
