Just been looking on Ebay and there is a new roadster advertised at £74999.00, surely thats a mistake? Does seem a bit steep As far as I know the 2018 pre-Geneva list was about 53K base model but most with a decent spec I thought were between 58K-64K new

Just realised Aston Workshop is owned by Robert Fountain who also owns Beamish Morgan, Morgan main dealer, so the prices will be true list prices
Certainly high spec Roadsters

Could someone explain in basic terms the difference between the various Roadster models. I see DaveW and others referring to S1, then NeilM referring to S2 and others mention a S3 . What model years relate to S1, S2 or S3?
I assume the change to the larger 3.7 cyclone engine accounts for one of the series designations.
From a happy 2007 3.0ltr owner (S1 I think!)

This is covered in my book with the different specs.
Basically four engines, three gearboxes, two rear axle ratios.
Two front crosshead widths. Three dashboards.

S1 has the Ford ST 220 engine & the Getrag gearbox from a Jag. 230 bhp. S2 has the Escape engine and lower BHP at 205 plus a transit gearbox. at some stage the power went up to 226BHP. S3 is the 3.7l engine.
The best is obviously the S1.

The best is obviously the S1. Not quite John. S3 has the upgraded Escape engine. So far we haven't called the 3.7 the S4. Perhaps we should........ S1 is the best though.
