I’ll be in London on Sunday, I have the whole day on my own, the only deadline is to be at Heathrow in the evening.

Any recommendations welcome for things to do, and posh lunch with a view?

Greenwich Maritime museum, Royal Observatory and planetarium.

If your credit or debit card is touch & go use that to travel on tube but make sure you touch in and also out. Dont underestimate how long it will take to get to Heathrow.

There's a Ferrari exhibition at the Design Museum in Kensington - on until Sunday. Highly recommended by a Hopmog member who went yesterday.

I second Greenwich , (but I am biased , I live here) but for a posh lunch with a view either the Shard (very expensive though) and the view can be obscured by the clouds and haze , but much better in my opinion is the Oxo Tower on the South Bank.

There are 2 restaurants side by side on the top floor , one is the Brasserie which is better value , the other in the full blown Harvey Nichols job. If expense is no object then go for the latter , but the view is the same from both and the food is excellent in the former. I use it for special occasions.

Yes, this would be very much 'the Morgan way'. Don't let the side down. smile

Alternatively, mooch around Covent Garden.... have a look around Neal Street and Neal's Yard...stroll over towards Piccadilly, check out the Burlington Arcade, Jermyn Street.... Dozens of places for lunch - there are some nice brasseries - a hidden away little place is Giovannis in Covent Garden - central but undiscovered.

Or go with the coke and hookers. smile
