Can anyone confirm whether the later design of cranked windscreen wiper arms will fit my 1990 +8? These park the blades parallel to the screen surround whereas mine sit across the edge, they also have a considerable outward curve which should increase the pressure applied to the blades on the screen.
I don’t use the wipers too often but when I do they are pretty useless!

I am sure they will be an easy swap to the cranked arms IF you can get any.

My local dealer has had them on back order for longer than I care to remember.

If you do find a source of them , please let us know, and there will be an queue behind you.

Interesting. So the factory cannot supply their dealers with currently manufactured components, this could be harder than I thought!

It looks as if Uncle Melvyn may have some.

I often use HOE but I can't see them listed on their site.

Thanks Dave, Brands Hatch Morgans have been very helpful and sent me pictures of both current and previous wiper arms. The current ones are longer, and I am investigating whether I can retro-fit these.
