Just returned from a few laps round Beachy Head to your many generous comments, tips, and suggestions - for which many thanks.
In response to a few queries and pointers I would add that yes I did consider progressing further with the 'chrome delete' idea (mirrors and bonnet catches were on the list at one point), but there really is quite a lot of it and ultimately my objective would have been defeated by the windscreen which MMC were unable to supply in black. This said I ended up leaving a sprinkling of shiny bits to catch the eye.
Per the factory's recommendation I've bought a 50l compressor with which to blast the dirt out of the fabric - so far so good but yes I'll probably have to organise a professional valet once or twice a year. There are plenty other more sensible fabric colours to choose from but once I'd stumbled across my favoured combination I just couldn't stop myself!
Looking forward to traveling a little further afield with this one (better suited to the longer trips than the ARP4 - especially with the auto gearbox) so I'm already scouring the net for Morgan events and breakfast meets.
I shall indeed be hoping to post more photo's - and next time in the correct forum. I tried the idea of compressing photo's via e-mailing them to myself but after several nights spent pushing the envelope of my technological know-how I eventually copped out and went for the easy option.
Here's hoping for another sunny one for us all tomorrow!

Is the paint a Matt finish or vinyl wrap? It's a Bentley colour with a satin finish so it has a slight sheen as opposed to the flat finish of matt. I'm told it'll scratch easily but am not keen on ppf as I don't want to risk affecting the finish - otherwise no point in choosing the satin. This said I'm being rather precious with it at the moment!

Bob,
My old M3W was a very similar colour & finish, and that was Audi Dakota Grey. I'd never had a semi matte finish on a car and it looked lovely in the end. But yes, beware that it's nigh on impossible to touch in any chips..!
I may have some specialist wash and protective shampoo somewhere in the garage still, so I'll have a rootle for you.
The only downside I could find was that on overcast days especially if it's wet, it was surprisingly camouflaged as tarmac, so my headlights were kept firmly on..!!
Looks lovely, chum.
Steve
