My 4 4 sport suffered the crack 2 months after delivery. one straight broken line on the drivers side. the factory acknowledged there was an issue and via my dealer replaced it under warranty.

well, seems like Morgan really had an issue with a batch of 4/4 Sports windscreens.
You are now the 6th, or 7th person I know who has run into the same problem. Was it a dented frame as well?
When was your car manufactured?

the replacement windscreen is just doing fine.

The crack in the glass of the original windscreen was due to a manufacturing error: the frame had been pressed too much on the top left corner. When a ruler was put across the corner of the old frame I could clearly see the gap between frame and ruler exactly where the crack in the glass started!

Whereabouts are you located?

sad news. I got a warranty windscreesn and after 5 weeks the new windscreen again cracked the same way. I do not know what they do with the screens at MMC.. So ,after 7 months a brand new 4 4 sports gets the 3d windscreen. any coments?

Have you had the hood up Juergen?
If so, there may be some excess tension causing this?

Do you use siwel pivots for an easier closing ?
It makes less tension on the wondscreen when you put the hood up ...
Maybe it's the reason why ?!?!

sad to hear that you had such bad luck with the replacement windscreen.
What did MorganPark say as to the crack of the original windscreen? Was this due to a dented frame (as was mine)?

Earlier this month I came across another 4/4 Sport (grey) at the British Car Meeting in Mollis (CH). This one had the same type of crack in the windscreen. ... Unfortunately the owner left with his car before I could leave a note. All I know is that the car has Zürich numberplate.

I talked to my local dealer (Abt Automobile) recently. So far this kind of crack has only been seen on 4/4 Sport cars. Looks like the manufacturing and fixing of the 4/4S windscreen is different from the other models.
