All help and advice welcome.
My 3 Wheeler has just passed its MOT, but with an advisory. Both front and rear nearside turn indicators are very dim indeed compared to the offside units.
Each indicator has six bulb units in it and only the top and bottom two are working, albeit very dimly as mentioned. This is replicated front and rear.
Does anyone have any ideas? Just spoken with my dealer who is well over 100 miles away and quite rightly can't suggest much by phone. Equally he doesn't have a lot of parts and it's a long round trip if not solvable there and then.
Thanks in advance if anyone has had this issue and can at least help me shorten the list of possible areas to consider.

The turn indicator are sealed LED units, I believe they are these with the 3 tabs removed http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/ultrabright-inner-led-indicator-amber--pair-/However as both front and rear are not working my first guess would be a wiring issue somewhere.

I agree with Roger, it does sound like a wiring issue. I'd start by checking the earth(s).

What was noticeable for me was there wasn't an increase in frequency in the good indicators when one failed.
The front indicator unit had debonded due to the exhaust heat and similar to yours several of the leds failed prior to the whole unit failing.
On a positive note pairs of motorcycle type led indicators completed with stantions are readily available which in the long term will provide a better solution than Morgans original design.

Thanks guys for your input. My gut feeling is with the wiring/connections somewhere in the system. Happy hunting I guess.
Still happy for further thoughts if anyone has had a similar issue to me though.

The old style can shaped thermal flasher units relied on a specific current flowing through them, usually rated at 2 x 21 watt, to flash at correct interval. Because LED's draw virtually no current a different type of current independant flasher system has to be employed, which would explain your findings.

Help! Found out from the dealer that my indicator issue is due to a failed " module indicator unit". It isn't allowing enough current through to the led indicator units.
Morgan had them, then they didn't, then they did, and now they do but they're faulty. It's like groundhog day when my car ended up off the road for 6 weeks due to parts issues last year.
Morgan have also scratched off all serial numbers and words of any sort, bless'em. They also now say they have no stock and are waiting.
My question is this, it must be a proprietary part so does anyone know what it is? Brand, part number, source. Any info would be greatly received.
I should've been driving my daughter to her prom last year, I let her down. It's my sons this year and I simply won't let him down if there's any way I can help it.
