Hit 37,750 miles today. Car was totally rebuilt due to chassis cracking. Have done all the improvements due to design flaws as well as a few that are just for fun. The car is even better than anything I remember before. I called it short today as it is warming up and the wind is picking up the dust on the roads and it is vile. I don't have the engine fan but I really feel that an oil cooler with an oil pressure/temperature gauge is the way to go. I live in rural Vermont and getting stuck in traffic just does not happen.

I have tentatively planned a cross country trip for later in the year but I will tow the M3W on a trailer and save it for the fun bits. There are a lot of very nice roads on the east coast due to the Appalachia Mountain range and there are some amazing roads from Colorado to the west coast. The middle bits, however, are miles and miles of miles and miles.

The car is behaving well and acting like a new car without all the birth pains that I recall. We shall see...

That's impressive mileage Michael.

There cannot be many if any who have done more miles.

Unless you know differently?

If you haven't already done so try Millers EP140. It's not a cure but seems to be the most effective at reducing the noise.

My dealer says I'm probably 'the heaviest user' but I think that may only apply to North America. I've heard about a German with some amazing kilometers racked up.

Also, it's not too bad for someone who can only drive this beast for about 6 months a year!

It was the first day of the Donington Historic Festival today. My mission was to find all the 3 Wheelers.

Firstly there was mine

Then the Pop Bang Colour car (being used as a prop for a new trailer manufacturer).

Then this in the paddock:

...being driven by Sue Derbyshire.

So, only three 3 Wheelers. I must look harder tomorrow!

Warm Friday evening and Cruise Night in Hopewell NJ... The M3W always draws a crowd, including last night a fellow who's name was Morgan who never knew there was a car with his name on it smile
