We had a lovely drive through the Kentish lanes today to The Rock at Chiidingstone Hoath for lunch today.

We shared the car park with a TVR (very noisy and rather brash according to the spectators) an Aston Martin Vantage (the owner's wife told us it was poorly made with lots of Ford parts which kept falling off) . Our +8 attracted far more attention, especially from the younger clients.

After which we visited Old Buckhurst Garden near Markbeech (open under the National Gardens Scheme) and everyone asked us if we were returning , because apparently another Morgan had been earlier.

Is it anyone here who shares our love of Mogs and visiting other people's gardens?

I suspect it was me and the missus - blue roadster 3.0 . We pootled around Penshurst countryside in glorious weather and dropped in to Old Buckhurst on seeing the open garden signs. There was an MGB GT in the car park but that was the only noteworthy car at that time. Apparently it's to be the last time the owners take part in the open garden scheme after doing it for 25 years. Very pleasant interlude, followed by a refreshment stop at the Bottle House pub nearby where we took up station just as a white Morgan was leaving!

Great to know , yes I can see the confusion with the folk at Old Buckhurst , both our cars are blue , both are Morgans , so they must be the same , right?

We too arrived at Old Buckhurst entirely by chance , we left the pub looking for Toys Hill (an NT woodland) but the SatNav failed to find it , and so we took refuge at the first likely place that caught our eye , following the yellow signs. We were hoping for tea and cakes perhaps , but no such luck , but it was an interesting garden and we came away with 2 plants (don't we always!)
