Back safely, M25 was a dream. Really enjoyed the trip and fully endorse Mark H’s comments. Chris, thank you for a great job of coordinating too.

What a great weekend, good company, brilliant weather, what more could you ask for. Oh yes cars which don't break down. There was a squadron of 14 cars including two old three wheelers one from the UK and one from Holland two of the M3W came a distance one from Edinburgh and on from Nice. Two cars were wounded in action one was got back into action with a replacement fuel pump, the other was also a suspected fuel pump last heard of on a flat bed heading for Zeebrugge. For those that were asking the fuel pump I had that went into Geoffs car is a Land Rover Discovery part number WFX101020. Some pictures of the event. Some of the squadron at the hotel. At St Omer airfield Leg stretch enroute At the Albert Ball crash site, memorial stone just left of centre Wreath laying ceremony

Thanks to all of you who made this year's Albert Ball such a superb event. Hopefully everyone got back (or get back for thise going on further) without any more incedents. For thise whi did suffer I hope the car's ll get fixed soon. 3 out of 13 (including Gerald's which threw a sickie before we even started) is not what we've come to expect from the M3W nowadays. The 2 "classic" 3 wheelers of course perfomed faultlessly! Everyone kindly said they would want to do it again next year so pencil in the 3rd - 5th May 2019

We got back safely to Oxford having overnighted in Tunbridge Wells. Libby and I really enjoyed the trip and meeting/re-meeting you all. Big thanks to Chris for organising it so well; to Mark for his moving speech at the memorial; and to Roger for fixing Geoff’s car. Steve/Dianne, hope you get/got home ok. Will try and post some photos later.

There was an interesting French M3W at the Albert Ball event. It had tuned length exhausts. Was the driver deaf in one ear?
