After your last link to an XK8 stuck across a country lane, I suppose it was inevitable the next one would be a drowned XK  Missed out on that road when we were down there a few years ago.

Being kind i guess they didnt know it was a tidal road. It is clearly signposted, though.

Sadly it happens quite often on that road. Even the locals get it wrong at times.
The tide comes in very quickly there.

I was out fishing many years ago now about three miles from land and came across a lesser spotted vauxhall viva bareley afloat.It had been abandoned on pendine and the tide took it away.I tied a buoy onto it and informed the coastguard,fair chance its a bit rusty by now.
