The sun is shineing car parks empty our harbour is mesmerick and my fishing spot is vacant. Anything going on today i should know about.

I drove into Salisbury this Saturday afternoon: no traffic, space in every carpark.

I hammered down the A1 from Newcastle and back up the A19 from Wetherby. Nothing on the roads this afternoon. Except the pheasant which bought it against my windscreen pillar.

I went to Hailes Abbey. had a very peaceful saunter about. There were a few others, but the lady on the desk said it was quieter than normal for a sunny Saturday. Moved on to an overview of Winchcombe and the castle. A few walker returning from a clamber up to Belas Knap long barrow, but plenty of space at the side of the road to park up. Time to check my photos later
