Hi. Does anyone here know where the live wire that feeds the fuel pump on a 1979 plus 8 comes from or goes to.
I am rewiring with a new loom and have followed it through and it comes out with 2 other wires near the alternator.
I have a feeling it connects to the coil but Im not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Steve

Steve, there is a connection to be made on the oil pressure sender (below the alternator) it is near the oil filter, this keeps the pump running when the engine is operating, if the engine stops (no oil pressure is sensed) and the feed to the fuel pump is stopped.
