Not recently, too many dead insects on the front.
Happens every time I use her.
A major design flaw, I feel.
Is there some sort of "non stick" coating that could be applied??

Common fault I fear.
I tried with rainx (only idea I had in mind) but reality is that you need or a high pressure water jet stuff (not sure how to name it in English) or the old good elbow grease.

I guess all vintage cars who share our shape must have this problem?

The front of mine is an insect graveyard.

Yes but catching the flies and adding it to them in advance can be difficult. grin2

By applying Meg’s Ultimate Quick Detailer to front facing areas; though the insects still are just as numerous, washing them off is far easier.

I too am a fan of Meguairs Ultimate Detailer and use it a lot.

But not right now!

Am laid up whist the knee recovers from the partial replacement.

No driving for me for quite a few weeks yet swear

Run out with the "LogMog" crew this morning, not far, only about 35 miles up and down the Woodford Valley, which runs from Salisbury to Amesbury.

A good collection of 15 cars, no true Aeros and only Tarka as an Aero Plus 8.

I wish these runs were a bit more adventurous, 60 to 90 miles seems reasonable for a morning run. We finished up at Old Sarum airfield for a coffee and then a look round BDAC, where I work.
Caroline had an hour is the simulator, demonstrating very firmly that she is a far better pilot than I, landing her Beagle Pup on the main runway at Boscombe Down.
