It might be better to re-post on the M3W section of the forum. It’s not the timing belt is it?

As Tim say's it's worth reposting in the Three Wheeler section.

When you say "Harley" compensator, do you mean the original 2013 or has the car had the Centra upgrade?

When the original goes it sounds like a bucket of bolts rattling and certainly doesn't squeak.

The Centra does have rubber rollers and these could perhaps be squeaking but it's not a common known issue.

It's hard to diagnose from a video but it does sound as if it's coming from the engine itself which could point to the cambelt. When was this last replaced?

It could also be something rubbing so it would be worth checking all the pipe and cable runs to see if anything has come a bit loose.

Good luck!

Hi,

If it helps, here is a link to the death rattle of the original "harley type" compensator on my M3W. I went through two of these before they finally put in the Centa Drive compensator. Your squeak sounds like something else...... Definitely have a quick look under the timing belt cover and check for a loose spark plug???? JR - I'm sure the 3W guys will know of this - try popping the video in the 3 wheel section of Talk Morgan, in case they miss it here.

All the best
