Anyone up for a European 3 Wheeler meet in 2019, (E3W-19), this will be independent of the Albert Ball Blat & the Jungfrau Treffen

We need suggestions for

Location
Venue
Hotel
Dates

Whose in?

There are so many options

Picos d'Europe and/or Pyrenees staying in Paradors, Spain

Gorges du Verdon area, France

Loire Valley, France

Ring of Kerry, S Ireland

Norway Fjords

Wild Atlantic Way, N Ireland

That will keep you going until 2025, picking a date will be difficult to avoid Albert Ball, Goggle and Gauntlets and Jungfrau Treffen.

For more inspiration browse some of the car tour websites.

Just on my way back from the Isle of Mull, brilliant scenery, roads and people. Maybe the Highlands and Islands of Scotland should be on the shortlist.
Almost forgot - excellent food as well !

Another + 1 subject to date.

To fit between Albert Ball, Goggles & Gauntletts and Jungfrau, plus missing out the summer school/Euro holidays how about looking at june/july time?

Hi Mark.
+2 if the date fits in between other events. Late June, early July ?
When I saw your post I contacted a German friend with vintage 3W and M3w too. We stayed in his area a couple of years ago on our way to Italy, it is close to Boppard about 7 mls from the Rhine. Brilliant Mog roads, great hotel with masses of space for Mogs and relaxing. They have a small stadium on site next door, a Blues Brothers Tribute Band was on whilst we were there, fantastic !
The guy is willing to help arrange the hotel for us if that is where the vote is to go. Of course all other ideas welcome and it may be felt it is too close to Switzerland ( perhaps they may come) but it always helps to have someone on the ground nearby when planning overseas jollies. Look forward to seeing what others propose.
Brest wishes, Choca.

The Highland 500 is meant to be pretty spectacular, I hear. We’re thinking of doing it next year with my friend, us in the M3W and him in his Alfa GT Junior.
Actually, we just got back recently from a two week trip with him around the Basque and Rioja regions in Northern Spain. I can highly recommend those areas for a road trip. There were some amazing roads through the mountains and the food and wine were fantastic! The overnight ferry journey to Bilbao is a pleasant experience too (if you book onto the plusher Brittany Ferries ship rather than the economy one they run).
