A really nice one here Gilbern Invader Estate

the genuine one owner is Vic Champness the Black Phey Morgan Restorer. He bought it new from the Factory in 1971 when you finished the build at home, which he did. Fantastic Colour, not cheap but you'll be hard-pushed to find a better, more honest one.

I also ran a MK II Gilbern Invader for a few years (a car I had yearned for since I was a teenager), didnt want to sell it but the pull of a 3.9 +8 was too much and it had to go. No reliability issues for me and I loved driving the car, as previously mentioned - first quality fibreglass.

Silverstone Lineup - my car centre - Vic Champness' on the right.

Have Fun :-)
Andy

That looks really nice with the black roof, the design has stood the test of time well.

I never experienced any carb icing on my Scimitar GTE which had the same power unit the Essex V6 and that was through 2 very cold German winters.
