Thanks Michael and Stuart. This looks like quite an operation. My shelf is glued in place which will add to the fun. What I might do is run a wire from a brake light... there are access points via the wheel arch. Maybe.

Very nice and professional job Micheal. I have never understood why someone has not made these commercially.

I see you have the same Brics Bellagio case that we have. The factory is not far from us and I bought ours at the factory shop. They really are the best and the zip is enclosed in such a way as to make it shower proof. I also purchased the optional clear plastic rain cover which, even though it leaves some bits exposed, keeps the bag clean and in effect no water gets in even in the most severe conditions.
