Went for a quick flip round the Malverns late morning and the fuel pump packed up round the back of the hills. With modern technology I was able to source a replacement while waiting for the breakdown truck and already have one ready to fit in the morning. A big thumbs up for Gott and Wynne's recovery service for £20 a year or whatever it costs.

Monthly drive out to the Orangery at Powderham Castle for breakfast with six fellow Fossils. Cars varied from a lovely 1947 Flat Rad to PaulJ’s ARP4.
Beautiful morning first thing, but significant holiday traffic on the way home.

Down to Stowe for a couple of hours - make some use of those NT cards - having lunch at the Greedy Goose and onto hotel in Chipping Norton.

Seen five Morgan’s so far. Definitely something going on in this parish.

Just back at Faringdon after a good day out. The event was quite low key compared to some, but the setting is spectacular.

Been talking most of the day and met up with some familiar old faces....

I'll see what the weather's like in the morning but maybe pop over for a look they are forecasting thunderstorms for us at the moment.

Took Monty the Cocker to Pembrey park fairly early. Didn’t take Alfie the Springer, he is not up to it and gets unsettled in the car. It was too warm for him too. Old age has crept in and some medical issues. He had a good cwtch when I got home.
Short drive. Nice dip in the sea and walk through the forest. Could see the clouds over Devon/Cornwall. There is faint thunder now towards that area and clouds building up. Bude webcam shows wet roads etc so rain on its way.

Went to the Mog18 3 hrs from our new house in Suffolk on Fri, did one of the runs & then Blenheim today & home. The car is now just off 33k.
4 years ago in May at the age of 8 years it had 9,500 on the odometer.
