It's certainly not on a welded area as was suggested. Yes it is.... MMC welds that section up, and then linishes the weld flat again It would be a sod to shrink the excess metal out if it was panel beaten Simon @ SiFab.co.uk Thanks for clearing that one up, always happy to be corrected. . Always something new to learn in Morgan construction.

Twice.. ... but we have quite a few ex and present factory moles on here that will doubtless attempt to justify it on the basis that it is hand built... Wow..!! Yes Wow. What a strange comment which being ex factory I rather resent. The panel is welded there, probably a poor weld. I’ve not seen anyone else post about a similar problem in all my years on TM so I guess not a common fault. But then it is hand built
