To bring my (recently purchased in Holland) Morgan into Belgium, I must first drop it off at the Dutch/Belgian border where a company will arrange the paperwork to get new plates & registration so I can drive in Belgium. One of the docs is called a "CVO" a certificate that states the car is compatible with EU and spec. Belgian rules and regs for vehicles on public roads here. This certificate has to come from Malvern. When I have it, Belgian Customs will check out the car to see that it is mechanically sound and I can be on my way. I've been waiting 9 weeks for this CVO. Very frustrating. I called Malvern and spoke to Sally Baylis. Gave her the chassis nr. and she said Matthew Welsch was seeing to it. I mailed three more times as the weeks went by but am not getting any acknowledgment from the Company. Is this wait commonplace? Dave...anybody?...help! Thanks.

Hello Cole...
a/ the document is called COC
b/ customs have absolutely nothing to do with a COC document,or any mechanically inspection...where did you get this from ????
c/ you should ask this COC @ the main Morgan importer in Belgium.
d/ always check if this is available before buying a car abroad.
e/ if you can not get this COC, due to type of car who was never imported into Belgium before, there is still a way to get a exceptional one its named "single case PVG/coc nr" wich is a long(sometimes expensive) way to go..but possible...
i did this recently for a Porsche wich i bought in florida, the engine hp was different (emmision) to the ones in belgium, so no ordinary COC, but i got one the long long (expensive)way finally..
f/ if your Morgan is over 25 years old, you can register it very easy in Belgium as oldtimer, by which you do not need this coc document.

I imported a car into UK from France. I had to get a duplicate CoC from Morgan. It cost 50 pounds and was supplied within a couple of weeks. This was all done through a Morgan dealership (BHM). I'm sure Garage Albert would provide the same service here in Belgium.
