When it comes to Tilley hats: i got mine in Melbourne, Australia. Ths shop owner was a true professional (shop next to Central station) and he insisted to buy it at least one number larger than my standard hat size. I am quite happy to have followed his recommendations.

As an aside SWMBO was a hearing aid audiologist and insisted I wore ear plugs when I was riding bikes.
They were custom made ear moulds designed to attenuate certain frequencies but still give reasonable general hearing and awareness.
I believe some musicians use something similar given some of the mega amplifiers you rockers have stacked up on stage.
I now use these if I'm doing any distance or motorway type driving and it does help to relax and significantly reduce fatigue let alone the benefit of delaying age related hearing loss a bit. Apparently wind noise can be quite harmful because you eventually get used to it and ignore it but the damage is still being done.
Also useful when travelling with her when I take a bend a bit too fast.
Wouldn't be without mine. I have two pairs. Oddly enough, they're really fluorescent colours.  Best Morgan accessory ever..!

I am a Tilly man for summer brilliant and if you do lose it they will replace it free of charge and it floats!!

As a resident of Canada, there was really no other choice than a Tilley. Classic cream-coloured T3 for me with the dark green under-brim lining; mine is getting on a bit, fraying round the edges and just beginning to show signs of rotting out where the crown joins the brim, but it's suffered all sorts of indignities over the years, including dunkings in many lakes, Great and smaller...
It's great for Morganing, keeping the sun out of the eyes and away from the ears, as well as off the shiny bits on top.

I read with interest all of the positive comments about Tilley hats, so went to have a look at our local stockists. (Cotswold Outdoor at Darts Farm Shop) Beautifully made - agree.  Totally functional - agree. But mainly worn locally by hikers on the coast path, or bird watchers enjoying the Exe Estuary. Fine people all, I’m sure; but not a look that I wish to adopt.

So, What look do you adopt? If it's practical as well, I might want to copy your look. Remember, I'm still relatively new to all this Morganeering and keen to learn from others experience. By the way, my non Morgan headgear also includes a wide variety of flat caps but they don't seem to work very well above about 40 mph
