Rear Springs on my 2 1/2 yr old Plus 4 squeaking like an old iron bedstead with rusty springs. I expect some squeaks and creaks etc but not that bad. Read some threads on here and based on this did the following. Remove rear panel and tool tray - I'm too old and round to get underneath
1. Duckhams silicone spray lube on all the bushes on spring ends and shocks. 2. Spray grease on the axle/spring/U-bolt assembly. 3. Graphite grease pressed into the spring leaves (on both sides) with my finger end - which took contortions that a circus performer would have been proud of
