It's not your calcs, that does indeed add up to 90 litres.
I think it's the way you've measured it.
If you take a side view it's not a 390 x 320 rectangle because the back of the tank has a big slope on it under the spare wheel.
I don't know what the dimensions will be but you have to take a big chunk of volume off for the slope.
My slope is accurately measured at 100x40mm (& quoted above)so that only knocks a couple of lts off max

Hello, 1 year ago as I was riding from Paris to Geneva lake with my 2001 Plus 8 for a trip across Alpes with some friends, I suffered from fuel gauge misinformation and was near an out of gas break. I put 59,16 liters (see the picture), my precedent record was 58 liters so my fuel tank must be 60 liters ! Jacques - Morgan Club de France

Sounds like a classic MMC explanation! How about "Well, it's a Morgan - you have to work on it.". Or "Oh, we have never heard of that before!" By the way, what is the max range you guys get out of a full tank? I have the 2018 Plus 4 GDI but can rarely beat the 600km, making it more than 9L per 100km (or about 25mpg) with the 55L tank. I can't imagine that a lightweight like the Mog with an engine built for a quite heavier car would drink that much... Moreover, I recently worked on the engine and disconnected the battery. After the next start, my average fuel consumption was at 260L/100km - what a spaceship! Any ideas on how to reset this ridiculous indicaton?
