Morgan's car creator on their web site has a selection for bespoke paints. I have found out that the color numbers do not mean anything, no paint code.
trying to order a special color, but having problems finding one. Most body shops i have talked to use a vin # or a paint code, no charts.
does any one know what manufacture of paint is used by Morgan?
Or a real suggestion on finding a color chart, with out having to buy one for each year. Can't really tell colors on the computer screen, nor do i want to but upteen charts.

It is not easy choosing a colour as you can have just about any colour you want, the easiest way if you know what you want, red for instance, is start looking out for red cars Ford, Jaguar etc and then when you find one you like find out the colour name and paint code, fairly easy if you know the year to search online or go into a paint shop.
That the way I did it, one of my cars is a Volvo colour the other is Land Rover

I will go along with Graham, just two weeks ago I had to get a rear wing repaired and when I contacted Morgan they gave me a number which did not mean anything to a specialised repair garage and they called in PPG and they got the paint that day by analysing my Morgan paint colour. Trust PPG Paint Comapny

thanks for the help! Depends on age, fading etc. Best to get the paint you are trying to match scanned.

Any good Bodyshop will have a tool called a Colour Spectrometer.
They will treat an area of your car (to cut through dirty clear coat or the actual colour - if older paint) and then analyse the paint with this tool.
This will ensure that the colour is a spot on match.
