Hi, does anyone have any advice/ suggestions for roadside / travel assistance when taking the Morgan through Europe. Still has warranty cover, not sure how much that covers in terms of recovery. Appreciate any advice. Ron

Hi Ron, check out whether or not your Morgan insurer offers that cover. I use Gott and Wynne and have had European cover from them. Fortunately, No experience of using the service.

This is worth checking.
I have heard of MOG’s needing recovery and courtesy car back to the tunnel at least.
Good Luck

I paid about £110 for 8 days “full fat” RAC cover for my trip to Angouleme last year. A LOT of money, but peanuts compared to recovery costs from deepest France.....also included a hire car if needed. Takes all the worry out of it.

I have RAC European Cover. Used them twice in 30 years. Know you have a newish Morgan but post 10 years old RAC waive the "old car excess" for MMC members.

AA is said to be the best for Europe, bar none by those who know. Although I've used them for the last 20 years, I've never called upon their services, thankfully.
Last year and next week i'll be using Red Pennant as I'm towing a caravan. I had call to use them last year as a Mondeo came between my tow car and the caravan at 60mph. They were faultless. But then I'd not even left the UK..
The alternative is ADAC for those brave enough to try.

Aero still with warranty cover. Surely on a car costing that much, MMC bundle foreign recovery in with the warranty. Even Jag do that on a car costing much less
