Hello there,

I'm just an AERO 8 newbie. Bought in UK at Techniques the prototyp car from 2004, YX04 JUC, Aero 8 Series II in silver frost and drove it down to germany / bavaria near lake chiemsee where I'm living. It was an exciting ride unfortunately almost on rainy roads.

As I have now to convert the car for the german TÜV (same as MOT in UK) one question to the professionalists here:
Does anyone know which beetle headlamps (partnumber) I have to build in the car? I found out there are 2 different ones on the market, but can't find the difference.

Thanks a lot for your kind help,
a very happy AERO owner

Hello Wolfgang

Welcome to Aero 8 ownership, and I hope you enjoy the car as much as I do.

Presume you're wanting to have lts that dip to rt. Only way I could give you the p/n is by removing a headlamp but if you get stuck I will do so.

Cheers

You may be in luck.... Speedmog (handle) is just re-importing his car back into the UK and has a set of new (ish) LHD lights we sourced for him when he went out to Portugal a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the welcome.
Maybe its a good idea to get in contact with Speedmog for his lights. As they are off the morgan now, maybe he can tell me the p/n. In germany they aren't very expensive.
And postage from portugal to germany maybe a mess.
I hope someone is knowing the p/n without taking out the lamps from his morgan.

I really enjoy the car! Unfortunately the wintertime starts here with always salty roads. So the AERO has to go in the garage to the Plus 8 and the DHC 4/4 smile

Wolfgang:

How about contacting the Morgan motor company direct.
They would have to have all that information at their fingertips.
The web site has the phone/fax numbers.

Now I got the right partnumbers from the german morgan dealer Flaving, thanks for that.
As there are more englisch Aero's Serie 1 advertised at mobile.de maybe someone else is interested in these partnumbers:

BOSCH headlights 0301 163 203 and 0301 163 204

Buying originalparts is much cheaper then the MMC offered ones.

Thanks a lot for your kind comments!
