My wife's handbag ( well her carry on luggage really) has near as much luggage space as the F type.

I come on here because you are a nice bunch of people even if some of you take your choice of toy car far too seriously. It's a toy, you aren't married to it!

And I don't take myself seriously so neither should you take my comments seriously. Lighten up.

I like the idea of getting a bit lighter !

That was exactly my point Howard, TMers are a great bunch of people, not all motoring forums are the same unfortunately. I’m also a member of the Porsche Club GB and anything that could be considered as criticism wouldn’t be well received, you certainly don’t get many fish discussions on there wink
I can’t comment on the Jaguar club as I’ve never been an owner or member.

The Lotus forums are charged with short sighted testosterone.
I hung around there for a while......

They're a little younger on average, I think. When we were 40 years old, our school reunion was terrible. Everyone had to say how successful they were. Ten years later it was already much more relaxed. And now, another ten years later, we are happy about everyone who is still coming.

My experience of school reunions was exactly the same as was my experience of the lotus forum. Testosterone fuelled 30 year old incapable of not being aggressive. The boat forums can be a bit that way particularly on the subject of brexit. Lots of keyboard warriors.

That's why this forum is such a pleasant place even if Mmc and it's eponymous car is seen by some to be beyond criticism. At least by an outsider that is
