Hello there,

I found a lot of outside pictures around this forum but nearly nothing from inside the cars. Cause my car is a bit poorly equiped, I'm interested to see details from inside specially Series 2 cars.
But it might be a good idea to collect pictures even from the other AERO series.
Details from underneath the dashboard, carpets, interior, door details e.g. caps around the closer, dashboard details and others.
Finding out what was factory equipped and what was additional interior.
As I found out, even some dealers don't know exactly how the different cars look like inside innocent

Looking forward for some pictures here!
Have a nice Morgan-day

Thanks for the link, I found that before. But as I told you, almost pictures from outside only, beautiful pictures of course smile
No details from inside the different cars frown

Hi Wolfgang,

I am pretty sure that I published an interior photo of my Series II somewhere on the site, but I can't find it! However, here is my Series III interior and my Aero SuperSports interior is the last photo here.

Unfortunately, my other photos are on my UK computer and I'm not back until the end of the month, but I am sure that one of the other Series II owners should be able to help you out. smile

Is there anything in particular you want to see?

My car is a series 2 and I could take some photos and send to you but I'm not very good at the old camera lark laugh

Cheers

My S2 interior when I owned it. Note the door vents, these were a 'special' feature of the s2, and only on a limited number of cars.

They did keep the side widows free from mist quite well, and looked nice I thought.
Shame they were replaced on later s2's and never reappeared on the s4..

@Boshly
I'm interested in door details where the lock is situated. There seems to be a plate which isn't in my car. As well in my car there is nothing under the dashboard (no glove box, no cover under the steering wheel). The part under the dashboard where the air comes out seems to be Series 1 so it would be interesting how this differs in series 2. Every detail is welcome.

@mr_tony
I've seen these door vents on a S2 offered in germany as well. Whats the instrument on the right side close to the door? On my development car there is the clock inserted, not on the left side. And I don't even have these lights beside the headlamp switch.

BTW are the lamps between the speedometer and the rev meter working? In my car they aren't.

Thanks for all comments,

Hi Wolfgang,

The instrument next to the door on the drivers side is the 'tyre pressure gauge' sometimes known as the 'random information generator' or 'tyre panic gauge'.

These were standard fitment on all Aeros until later Series4 cars, however they were often unreliable, (my series 2 wasn't too bad, but occasionally it would lose the rear wheels for no obvious reason!).

The lights below the tyre gauge, I cannot for the life of me remember what they are, I'm not sure they are on the S4 even! I'm sure a series II owner can post up.

Or someone might be able to scan their handbook?

Rich, I believe Wolfgang means the 3 buttons for the Tyre Pressure Monitor. Wolfgang, the three buttons allow you to cycle through the functions of the TPS, as well as reset it. As mr_tony (Rich) said, the system was so unreliable that it was dropped on later Aero 8 S4s and on many of the later production Aeromaxs.

The clock is present on all Aero 8 S2-S4 models (in front of the passenger, not the driver - and at the far edge of the dashboard); however, later cars sometimes had the clock removed to fit tweeters for the stereo. I will try to find a photo and post it up for you.

As for the warning lights between the speedo and rev counter, yes, they should work. These are warning lights for things such as ABS sensors, indicators lights (left and right turn) and the rest I cannot recall without checking the manual (I believe the engine warning light is in the top row (above the stereo) but if not, it is also in the middle.
