It may have cost that much, but I doubt that it’s still worth it.

No you are probably right, I'd rather have a nice old Enterprise any day.

Can't thank Dan Whiting enough for extra work he arranged FOC on dashboard. Hate chrome especially in the cockpit. He not only arranged for main instrument bezels to be removed, shotbblasted and powder coated matt black, but included clock and switch surrounds as well. Also fitted a Sony radio and the Phoenix/John Taylor mirrors I supplied smile

Great improvement IMO, need to do something with that awful standard rear view mirror though - I was warned wink

Well done, Richard. It looks superb, and I must say I like the black instrument bezels..

Yesterday: down to Williams for their open morning/breakfast club/Morgan day. Rather quiet, though a few test drives were going on (and several cars sold apparently). Quite taken with a 10 plate Evora, but the 4/4 is easier to enter/exit smile (and will fit down the driveway grin2 ).
On from there to join Peter Ballard (of SSL) for the Marshfield village day and parade. Good to catch up after a couple of years missed. Ah, and a large mint choc chip Marshfield ice cream thumbs

Didn't realise who I was chatting to today. Hope you enjoyed the picnic, hope you find the water loss soon.

We went to Felixstowe ferry in the wifes Polo with #3 son, swmbo & swmbo Senior.
They leave tomorrow & my desk for the spare bedroom arrive Monday so I can try to get back to building wooden model ships. Or at least setting it all up.

That's the one - just as you climb up out of Blackpool heading to Strete that bit of path has only been opened for a few years now.

Just South West of Blackpool Sands where the path plunges down a steep sided valley. Main Road just visible on the left. We've worn the hinges out on that gate...................
