There is a difference between a suggestion and a complaint.
TM is a community. Anyone is free to make suggestions about how the community could be made even better but nobody, in my opinion, can have any cause for complaint.
Like +8Rich, I found the opening post disheartening. It was like watching someone reject a wonderful gift as unacceptable and demand a better one.

Why not create a new group called, say, adverts_ok and add everyone with over 25 posts to it? Then grant new topic and write permissions in the For Sale forum to this group. This would save mods/admin having to approve every single post in the For Sale forum. If anyone does abuse the privilege then just remove them from the group.

And that is the problem someone still has to check for abuse of the system - it's going to be more viable for Simon to chop it he just doesn't have enough time.

I have an idea to solve this problem.
Firstly we start a new Forum called Complaints.
Then we insist that all Complaints are made in the Complaints Forum.
THEN WE CAN IGNORE THE COMPLAINTS FORUM IF WE WANT TO .........
Actually that won't solve the "slow" for sale forum but it will mean we don't have to read complaints about what is an excellent resource for Morgan Owners and Enthusiasts run by a very dedicated team.
