If you reverse the fan in cold weather you will have a great footwell heater.

Had a Centa fitted to replace my original Harley style compensator (that always worked really well on my car and no problems after 5200 miles) when the chassis was changed last October.
Have to say that the car feels quite different and I preferred the old device in terms of driving pleasure. Not helped by reduced engine power thanks to fan upgrade etc.! Oh well...
Anyway, question is - can I tell if it has the new innards or is it simply a question of what was available / lying around at the time? Was there a definite date from which all new Centa units will be the ones with the bigger rubber bits??

The new rubbers are only a millimetre or two longer so it'll be impossible to see without taking the unit apart.

It's a new spec rubber and I'm not sure when the transition date would have been but almost certainly not before Aug 2017.

I have a spare rubber set, for my Centa crankcase ventilation I have to mount the two fans together so that the Centa crankcase does not exceed 50 ° C in any circumstances even operate at a standstill.

Clever modification allowing you to detach and remove the engine from the drivetrain assembly leaving everything else in situ.

Looks good,and deceptively simple too.
Bet there was an awful lot of thought and worry before cutting the first hole!
