Judging by the swarm of photographers from the PRC all over our cars while we were setting up All Morgans' Day at Blenheim on the Saturday, with some being directed to take this detail and that, is there a chance that they have heard of this story as well?

So looks like aston martin have an electric drive train available to customers 2019 and its an 800v system as opposed to Tesla at 400V

Perhaps Morgan could go into partnership with Aston?

A significant step forward on @astonmartin road to zero emission capability. This is the first production intent battery for the RapidE, Aston’s first EV. The significance is it’s also an 800v system, likely to be an industry first when launched to 155 lucky customers at end 2019

Well it may be 800 volts but it leaves my emotions totally static gloomy.

I use to play with 275,000 for a living and that kept you awake alright.

This is all i have been saying for the last 20-30 years, but as said, for some reason the "ruling class" cannot see the logic nor the sense. The second argument is, should we transfer 3rd party insurance onto the fuel duty so that all the crims do at least cough up some tax when they run cars without tax and ins?

If that is the case then we should be worried. That is exactly what the Japanese dit on the IoM at the TT in the mid sixties. The result was an annihilation of the motorcycling industry as it was at the time.

This is an old Chestnut, but a valid one.
