The hot summer sun has done its worst on my +4's almost 30 years old walnut dashboard glove box cover - two nasty cracks right across it.
I have looked on the web and there are several refurbishers out there but wondered if anyone has had good experience / service from a particular company.
Obviously I can remove the lid and post it so they don't need to be based close to me in north east Essex, though I would prefer fairly local so I can go and see their set-up.
Thanks
Geoff

earlier this year I had my dash re-veneered by Classic Dash http://classical-dash.co.uk/
They are very familar with doing Morgans. They are a bit hard to contact, but well worth it.

I you can post the lid please consider the continent: Matthias Kauffelt http://www.mk-holztechnik.de/deutsch/edelholzrestaurierung/index.html in Germany is well known and a specialist in veneer, he did a great job on a new dash for my 1990 4/4 4-seater!

Steve,
I've spoken to these people at Classic Dash and I am sending my glovebox lid to them. They reckon about 10 days and £50 ish, so seems like a great deal.

Thanks for the other replies, chaps.
Geoff

Please post some pictures for and after, I'm curious about the result. Sounds like a good deal!

Talking about dash boards, has anyone tried ( and succeeded ) in fixing the awful piece of fish net that the glove box now has across it.
Mine has come free at one end and, without removing the whole dash, I can't see any way of re connecting it.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

FINIALY got around to posting a photo of my dash following having it re-veneered, adding cream dials and a few chrome bit. Have also added an A frame, and had the carpets replaced, although you can't see that from the photo - Thanks to John V6 for various links etc.
