I'm not a fan of the lowered look either, but I have straightened mine so they don't point at the sky................

I'm so artistically inept I really can't say whether one looks better than the other. To my eye they are different, that's all.

I think without the air dam fitted they need lowering to offer a little more protection to the radiator. I didn't like the look of mine on the Sport it looks like an afterthought.
Well that is where most of our cars are fitted low down under the bumper for that reason I imagine.

I was trying to work out where this bit fits: https://www.morgan-motor.co.uk/mmc/shop/...-scoop-656.html Haven't seen one fitted so maybe out of sight, but does it protect the bottom of the rad ? & out of sight behind the numberplate box.

Now I haven't seen one fitted to a modern car but by the look of it protection would be gained for the protruding section of the radiator.

Sorry to differ but I preferred the original look or the one which showed all of the rad plate. Each to their own! For what it's worth I think a wing stick on plate is the best look if you fit a valance. But as you say each to their own!
