Well done David on the sale of your book, of which I have a copy.
Your book deals with post 1997 trads. What has been missing for owners of older cars is any form of a Haynes type manual. This goes back to when I had a 1938 4/4. I know that there is Gomog but it's not the same as a book with neoprene protective cover.

Well done Dave, what an excellent book.
However your book has had far reaching consequences for me.From your spec pages I started to make comparisons between my 2005 Plus 4 and the current GDI. I liked the idea of a Mazda gearbox, who wouldn't after the MT75.I liked the sensible placement of the instrument gauges, the lowering of the seats, the finish under the dash, the suspension, etc,etc. In fact the whole car is so very well sorted.
So I swapped my 2005 for a 2015 GDI and couldn't be happier.
I am now working through your book making all the adjustments you have mentioned. I have put on door checks, attached reflective material to the air intake and the rest will follow.
Thank you very much Dave for making an old man happier even if it did not have the same effect on my bank account.
