Jay,
we enjoyed Morgans at Windermere last year.
That Hardnott pass is something else especially the summit in a Mog where you can see nothing ahead.

First time I’ve taken the Morgan up.....been up plenty of times in a tin top or motorbike. Yes.....that feeling of which way does the road go as you crest the rises is interesting!
Only lost traction twice.....once on a very tight bumpy hairpin and on a cattle grid. It highlighted just how effective the five link suspension is.
It must have been a classics weekend.......we kept meeting a large number of classic trucks coming the other way.....thankfully not on the narrow lanes....and a number of other classics too. There is a classic rally finishing in Morecambe today and the Lancaster was meant to be flying over both days. The weather is so overcast I somehow think it won’t happen 😟
Met up with Taffmog and partner last night at the evening do. Realised that I knew them from my factory days and just hadn’t put two and two together then! Wen recognised his accent and started speaking Welsh to him and that was it.....they realised that they had been brought up in Denbigh and had a lot in common! Made her evening....well that and being with Jochen and the old charmer Wolfgang 🙄

Went to Bury St Edmunds for Classic by the lake.
70 miles or so of easy driving & a lovely sunny day out.

Yep Edmund Black Adder died in series 1. Not my favourite town as I nearly lost a finger tip in the British sugar factory in the 80s when a pump slipped & trapped it.

70 miles or so of easy driving & a lovely sunny day out. Good to meet you and Rob (BuyBritish) at what I regard as one of the best annual classic car meets in the area. Apologies it was so brief due to prior lunch engagement. Love your ARV6 style lights not least because just fitted a pair myself tried out in anger this evening. Just need tweaking down a bit as illuminating trees on high beam
