Well, almost ready for a two week trip in the S1
We leave Belfast on Friday morning, heading to the Cork Roscoff ferry via a night at Mount Juliet. We land Roscoff on Sunday morning and head to south of Nantes. After a day and night on La Rochelle we will have five nights at Dordogne. Two at Sarlat, one south of Bergerac and two Bordeaux.
We will then head to Mont Marsan and Biarritz before heading into Spain - Pamplona and Getxo before the Santander - Cork ferry. Back to Ireland Friday fortnight.
If there are going to be any other TMers in the vicinity, let me know ... it would be good to hook up.

Excellent trip by the sound of it. Enjoy!
We'll be in the Charente from 14th to 22nd at our place near Confolens if you are passing that way. 14th to 16th will be in Angouleme for the rally and circuit de remparts.

Sounds like a great trip, I got back from a european tour a few weeks back (not in the Aero though) and it was great fun.

Ian - I’m on the Cork to Santander ferry en route to Santander with 4 other Morgans for 10 days in North Spain - back on 16/17 ferry to Cork so will just miss you , I think. Have a great trip.

Hello Ian
Should give you the opportunity to drive the Aero 8 on lots of great roads, especially in Spain. Weather wise it's also a very nice time of year, generally T'shirts and shorts during the day and a light sweater/jacket in the evening.
Do please be careful in France with the radar cameras and frequently changing speed limits aimed (I believe) to catch out motorists. And if you do get caught speeding make sure it's never more than +40km/h because that's where license confiscation occurs. I won't even mention +50km/h where they can seize your car....
I live about 175km west of Mont de Marsan, so sadly too far to hook up, though I'll be at a Nogaro circuit day on Sunday 17th Sept.

Ian, there’s a glorious road just south of Roscoff. About 5 or 6 miles of fabulous fast winding roads through a forest. I’ll try and find it on google earth and pass on the info. The only road I’ve ever wanted to turn round and drive again just for the pleasure of it.
