Ken The penultimate photo is taken in Fluela, Fluela Pass in Switzerland on the road from Davos to Stelvio. Drove through there 4 years ago en-route to Lake Livigno for cheap petrol and then Bormio before the Stelvio. We had 15inches of snow on the night of July 3 in Bormio. Made for interesting driving the following morning.

Ken. It must have been a great trip all those years ago because Pordoi (final photo) is near Arabba in the Dolomites by the famous Sella Ronda ski area. Depending on route taken it's at least 150 miles from Bormio.

The last 255 miles home from Carlisle today through some amazing rainstorms on the M6. Good job I was forewarned and had the hood up. 1307 miles in 7 days, amazing driving on wonderful roads including a new discovery - the B827 from Comrie to Draco. What a cracker. 12 miles of twisty B road heaven. It's going to be a long wait until next year!
