BTW my post was not meant as subliminal criticism of the manufacturing standard at the Morgan factory. On the contrary, the quality is from my point of view very high there.
It is understandable that with a handmade product it makes a difference whether you have to build 8 cars a week and rely on your handcrafted routines to achieve a certain speed of work whereby certain tolerances may occur, or whether you may optimize one individual case for weeks and only concern yourself with achieving the most ideal result possible in the final appearance of this single case.

Sadly hit some more wild life in the F type last weekend but lucky for me it was a ferret / weasel type animal. Nevertheless I heard the knock as it hit so I assume it suffered injury. Was unable to stop at the time.

I was cruising at about 70mph the other day, with no vehicles ahead, when there was a loud impact as if a stone had struck the 4/4's windscreen, immediately ahead of my face. I got a flash of something travelling from left to right. It was a bird.

I reflected afterwards that this is a compelling argument for driving with sidescreens on.
