Bruce, The small battery-operated rear lights are made by Axiom (The “Zap2” lights). The “12 volt 5" LED PARK & TURN fog lights with Unity Brackets” for which I had him install LEDs instead of halogens. I obtained some longer carriage bolts from Fastenal.com Joe

I always enjoy seeing things that others do to make the M3W a happier place to be. First, since the vehicle has car parts and motorcycle parts, I figure some bike parts should be there as well. I am always looking for places to quickly store some things that I want out of sight when I duck into a store or office, but don’t feel like opening the boot. I bought two $8 bicycle cargo nets and attached one to the console side and one below where a glovebox would be, both taut enough to keep things from falling out. The under-dash isn’t well-understood in this pic, but when standing outside the car you really can’t see it. I store glasses/goggles/hats in this net:  Next, I am always worried about getting hit from behind at a stop. I attached two LED red lights on the roll hoops. At night, I can set them to stay on constantly, “surge,’ or blink. They detatch and are USB-recharged. Definitely makes me more visible:  I just installed these awesome checkered CocoMats. Love the look, and my heel had torn through the original floor mat within 1500 miles:  Finally, for both visibility, and just because I think they look fabulous, I installed some amber fogs with LEDs; not to see, but just to help be seen as I approach cross streets, etc.:  I look forward to more suggestions and examples by others. Looks great! Curious - How did you wire the fogs? On full time?

I had already replaced the stock headlights with Speaker LED lamps. This rendered the small “sidelight” or “first position” on the headlight switch useless. So I cut the wiring to the small auxilary bulb in the stock headlight housing and used that as the circuit for the fog lamps. Therefore, if I switch the headlamp switch to the halfway point, the fogs alone come on. If I place the headlamps full-on, both the fogs and the LED headlamps come on. The latter is how I drive the car, as I placed the fogs simply as additional lights for others to see me coming.

Looks great! Curious - How did you wire the fogs? On full time? My 2017 has only one position on the headlamp switch, so I wired the lights up with a relay and a switch mounted in the empty driver-side aux power (lighter) hole Morgan so nicely provided. The switch is not really needed, but I had it and thought it may be useful to be able to turn them off. Power to the relay comes from the seat heater power lead, which is switched with the ignition. With the LED bulbs, they draw very little power, and now come on and off automatically with the ignition. Truckin’ and High Noon, you two both inspired me early this year to do mine as well. Had known I would get around to it sometime, but after seeing how good the Mog looked with both of your installations, it pushed me forward to get the job done. Cheers!

I too have the Speaker LED's on order...and a '17 model. One of these great ideas should work fine. Thanks' for this info!
That 'spare' 12-volt socket mount didn't elude me and I've toyed with ideas to fill it (BMW-type socket for heated vest, USB, etc.). If I discover only a single position for the headlight switch, guess I know how it will be used!
