I wish Tarka did..!
The main reason I have a TomTom sat nav mounted on the screen is that it shows speed in numbers. The analogue speedometer on Tarka is impossible to read with any degree of accuracy, the markings are at 5 mph intervals and the parallax error makes things worse.

Browsing about the internet it seems that there are a lot of speedometers that use the OBDII socket to extract data, some even offer a form of "Head UP" display.

Would the OBD Data be more accurate than GPS?
It would certainly work better in a tunnel!!

Discussion of GPS Speedos and such should be moved to another thread. This thread is a sticky topic for the posting of photos of Traditional Morgan Dashboards.

Thank you all

Very envious! The standard Roadster dashboard very much suits a LHD car with the speedo on the left. I understand the leads are long enough to swap the speed / rev counter dials over. Anyone done this?

My understanding is the main dials are fitted into a module which is hard wired, this is then screwed to the back of the dash in one piece and part of the harness just plugs into this

I don't know of anyone yet who was brave enough to split this moulding and see if the dials can be swopped

rid967, these are some shots of the rear of a Roadster Dash

Time Clock, fog & heated 'screen switches

Main speedo, tacho, fuel & temp all in one housing

And just a reminder of the standard front layout

This does not look very hand-made, if I may say so.
